NEM · Greater Bay Area Manufacturing Headquarters Base, is located in Zhongshan, Guangdong, adjacent to core regions such as Guangzhou Nansha and Shenzhen. It encompasses 600 mu of M3-designated chemical industrial land (Phase I: 300 mu; Phase II: 300 mu) within a provincial-level chemical industrial park. Building on its strengths in pyrrolidone and lactone series chemicals, NEM continues to expand its portfolio of high-end fine chemicals and advanced materials in Zhongshan. In response to the Guangdong Provincial Government’s initiative to “accelerate the construction of a modern pilot-scale platform system and promote the integrated advancement of industrial and technological innovation,” NEM, as a leading enterprise and value-chain anchor, collaborates with universities, research institutes, and upstream and downstream industry partners to establish a Fine Chemicals and Advanced Materials Pilot-Scale Industrialization Base in Zhongshan. This platform supports the transformation of scientific research outcomes from laboratory research and pilot testing to industrial-scale production and commercial sales, fostering the incubation of high-end fine chemicals and advanced materials that address industry-wide technical challenges. In December 2025, the Fine Chemicals and Advanced Materials Pilot Platform led by NEM (Zhongshan) was officially recognized as a Guangdong Provincial Pilot-Scale Platform.
