Production Base

NEM has established three major manufacturing bases: the Greater Bay Area Manufacturing Headquarters Base, the Puyang Manufacturing Base, and the Pilot-Scale Industrialization Base, with a total land area of approximately 535 mu.Across these sites, NEM has built a Future Research Institute, leveraging industry–academia–research integration, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and digital technologies to continuously empower innovation in the fine chemicals and advanced materials sectors.Through its dual-core North–South development strategy, NEM effectively addresses regional mismatches in raw materials, energy supply, customer markets, and talent resources, forming a differentiated and synergistic industrial spatial layout.

NEM · Puyang Manufacturing Base, is one of the earliest production bases in China dedicated to pyrrolidone series products, with a total integrated capacity of 116,000 tons per year.NEM’s independently developed high-purity N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) achieves a purity of up to 99.99%, with performance comparable to that of leading international chemical companies such as BASF and Mitsubishi Chemical. Meanwhile, its high-purity Gamma-Butyrolactone (GBL) products have filled a domestic gap in the field of electronic chemicals.

NEM · Greater Bay Area Manufacturing Headquarters Base,Located in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, the Greater Bay Area Manufacturing Headquarters Base represents NEM’s core strategy of “rooted in the Bay Area, serving the world.” Leveraging the Bay Area’s advantages in geographical location, logistics, proximity to customers, R&D capabilities, and talent concentration, NEM aims to use this base as a strategic hub to serve global markets.By attracting high-end industrial resources such as technology, talent, and capital, the company is accelerating its global expansion and internationalization.

NEM · Future Research Institute,As the core engine of NEM’s innovation-driven development, the Future Research Institute builds upon the company’s experience in the commercialization of 863 Program scientific achievements. It focuses on tackling key R&D challenges in fine chemicals and advanced materials, establishing a full-chain development system spanning laboratory research, pilot testing, scale-up, industrial production, and mass commercialization. The Institute is dedicated to incubating and commercializing key products and process technologies capable of addressing critical technical bottlenecks across the industry.
